Zhilin (Helen) Li, equally passionate about economics and dance, is a creative, cross-cultural dancer/choreographer and a candidate for M.A. in Economics at Columbia University. Her systematic study of economics and dance practice serves as two wheels of a wagon, pushing her forward with synchronized impetus.

 

With her diverse dance background specifically in street-styles, she earned her Teaching Certificate from the China Dance Association in 2020. Holding a B.A. degree with a major in Dance from the University of Washington (UW), she is devoted to diverse and innovative art environment.

 

She  earned a B.S. degree from the Economics Honors Program and a minor in applied mathematics from the UW. In her bachelor studies, she took diverse classes such as advanced microeconomics and macroeconomics, and she received a certificate in Quantitative Managerial Economics. While she is still open to explore additional fields of studies, her research interest currently lies on empirical studies.
